Our story
It started with a suitcase full of diapers.
My husband is Korean, and every time we visit his family in Korea with our kids, the same thing happens. The days before the trip disappear into preparation: how many diapers for a week? Enough formula? Which baby food will he actually eat? And then we drag a mountain of luggage through the airport, most of it baby supplies.
One trip we decided to buy things locally instead. We went to a supermarket in Korea and stood in the baby aisle, completely lost. Different brands, different sizes, labels we couldn't judge. We had no idea what to pick.
The funny part is that my husband speaks the language perfectly. But back home in Japan, baby shopping is my job, so he could read every label and still not know what we needed. Knowing the language and knowing the products turned out to be two very different things.
Traveby is our answer. Trusted Japanese brands, sets built for each age, delivered to your hotel before you land. So the only thing you have to carry is your baby.
