Why we started Traveby

My husband is Korean, and every trip to his family meant a mountain of luggage — most of it baby supplies. The time we tried buying locally instead, we stood lost in a supermarket baby aisle: he could read every label, but back home baby shopping was my job, so neither of us knew what we actually needed. Everything you need to know

When should I order?
Order at least 4 days before your check-in date. Enter your hotel name and check-in date in the cart and we time the delivery so your box arrives by check-in.
How does hotel delivery work?
We ship with Japan Post or Yamato Transport to your hotel's front desk under the guest name you enter at checkout. Most hotels in Japan accept parcels for arriving guests, but we recommend letting your hotel know a parcel from Traveby will arrive before you do.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Yes, free of charge up to 4 days before your check-in date, including changes to the hotel or date. From 3 days before check-in, or once your order has shipped, we can't cancel or refund because the sets contain hygiene items and food. Email info@traveby.com with your order number.
What if the hotel can't accept the parcel?
Please make sure the hotel name, guest name and check-in date match your reservation, and tell the hotel a parcel is coming. If delivery fails because of incorrect details or the hotel declines the parcel, we're unable to refund. If we can't deliver because of weather, a disaster or a carrier problem, you get a full refund.
Can I customize the set?
The sets are fixed, but you can add individual items (extra diapers, formula, baby food, wipes) to your order. Up to 3 units per item.
Do you deliver to homes or outside Japan?
We deliver to hotels and other accommodation within Japan only. Shipping is free on Traveling sets; orders with individual items only have a flat ¥1,000 fee.
